Level 2 IT Support Technician (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Support for the infrastructure team as part of the Smart Hands support service
  • Configuration, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and end devices
  • Technical support for end users regarding hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
  • Processing escalated support tickets, as well as analyzing and resolving more complex issues
  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting for IT systems and infrastructure components
  • Assisting with the updating of servers and IT equipment
  • Collaboration on IT projects and implementation of technical solutions in coordination with internal teams
  • Collaborating with business units, IT architects, and project teams to optimize existing systems
  • Assisting with the integration of hardware and software solutions
  • Collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, system configurations, and support processes
  • Contributing to the creation of training materials and content for the knowledge base

Your Profile

  • Completed training in IT or computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • One to several years of professional experience in IT support, ideally in infrastructure or end-user support
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, IT systems, and troubleshooting
  • Experience handling support tickets and resolving technical issues
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong service orientation, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with various internal and external contacts
  • Good written and spoken English skills

This position is subject to the minimum wage stipulated in the collective bargaining agreement for the metalworking industry. Actual compensation depends on professional qualifications and work experience.

Minimum salary: 3400 EUR
